I’m a retired Presbyterian minister. I returned to the Twin Cities from ministry in New Jersey, Colorado and Washington State in 2013 and live with my best friend/sister-in-law and her son (my godson) and two small terrier mixes. After looking around for the right church fit, I wound up at Peace Presbyterian Church, and got involved a few years after that with InterMission. My central role is as treasurer (I spent 15 years in Finance and Accounting for The Pillsbury Co.) but I also provide a theological and denominational presence; for instance, I can celebrate communion if and when we choose to do this. Serving the community with love, especially families and children, is a central call of the church, and the reason I am committed to InterMission. I also work part time as an ACT prep tutor, and have a passion for helping equip young people both educationally and spiritually. I hope to see InterMission grow into a major support system for community youth.
